Santo ISD's administration works with district office staff to ensure grant funds are spent legally and all required documentation and deadlines are met. Planning and evaluation are conducted to ensure funds are spent according to highest need and are supplemental to the regular budget programs. Programs are evaluated to determine their impact on student achievement and improvement of instructional programs. SISD is responsible for the use of funds, compliance, and evaluation for several government programs, including

• Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) - Title I
• Compensatory Education - funding for At Risk students
• Other Federal and State grants - grants that are temporary and applied for as availability and need arises
