• Santo FFA is located in the Pecan Valley District (containing 14 schools 1A-5A) in Area IV (containing 100 schools 1A-5A) in North Central Texas.  There is no separation between small schools and large schools.
     
    CDE's (Career Development Events) - Participants gain decision making skills and in depth knowledge of the agricultural industry that they choose. Judging teams compete in the spring semester.
    Santo FFA normally has at least 7 highly competitive CDE teams for students to be involved in such as Livestock, Horse, Dairy Cattle, Dairy Products, Floriculture, Poultry, and Veterinary Science.  
     
     
                        
     
    LDE's (Leadership Development Events) - Participants gain many leadership skills such as public speaking, professionalism, knowledge of parliamentary procedure, agricultural issues, interviewing skills, etc.  Leadership teams compete in the fall semester.  Santo FFA normally has 10 LDE teams for students to be involved in such as Jr. & Sr. Creed Speaking, Jr. & Sr. Quiz, Public Relations, Jr. & Sr. Radio Broadcasting, Spanish Creed, Ag Issues, Jr. & Sr. Ag Advocacy, and Job Interview.
     
     
     
            
     
    Hay Judging - Santo FFA has 4 hay judging teams that compete in the Palo Pinto County 4H and FFA Hay Judging Contest in the fall sponsored by the Palo Pinto County Soil and Water Conservation Service.
     
          
     
     
    Speaking Development Events - FFA offers a wide variety of public speaking events including Jr. Prepared, Sr. Prepared, Extemporaneous, and Soil Stewardship.
     
     
     
     
    SAEP (Supervised Agriculture Experience Program) - Outside of class project that promotes agricultural education. Stock show animals are commonly used for a student's SAEP, but there are many other types of SAE Projects. Santo has a very strong livestock show program.
