• Paying for College

Step One: Apply for Federal Student Aid

Students should begin to fill out FAFSA 1st day of January their senior year of high school. All students must complete a FAFSA before a college or university will award scholarships or financial aid. Parents and students should apply for a PIN prior to January 1 to expedite the application process.

    Step Two: Apply for Scholarships

There are many types of scholarships available. National and merit-based awards can be located by using the scholarship search sites provided on our Web Links page. Check online to see if your or your parents' employers offer scholarships. Check with Mrs. Gilbert throughout your senior year to find out about local scholarship opportunities.
