Subscribe to Mobile & E-Alerts
E-Alerts
After registering for santoisd.net, you can subscribe to additional Mobile & E-Alerts in order to receive updates and other important information. Please remember that all Alerts will be sent via e-mail; even if a Mobile Alert is issued, it will be accompanied by an e-mail.
Note: It may be helpful to print this page, and then follow the instructions.
Go to www.santoisd.net
Click on the "Sign-In" button on the top right corner. Sign into the website using the Sign-In Name and Password that you selected. This was also sent to you in an e-mail from the District.
Once signed in, you will need to go under My Account in the top right side of the screen and choose "Edit Account Settings"
You will now see your profile displayed. Please click on "Subscriptions".
Now choose "Add Area". This will bring up a Search Box.
Leave the Search Box BLANK and click on Search. This will bring up a list of all subscription areas.
Check the box next to the campus homepage, as well as additional sections that may apply to you or your student, like a teacher's page, athletic team, etc. Please sign up for the Elementary or JH/HS sections, as Alerts from Campus Principals will come from these areas. Scroll to the very bottom and click Subscribe.
Mobile Alerts/Texts
Mobile alerts will deliver a text message to your mobile device. Please note, text messaging rates apply, according to your service agreement with your wireless provider.
To edit your Mobile Alert Settings:1. Log in, if you aren't already. Choose "Edit Account Settings"
2. Click on the Alerts button. Enter your ten digit cell phone number in the Mobile E-Alert number field (with no dashes or spaces).
3. Select your service provider from the Mobile E-Alert Provider drop-down list.
4. Indicate whether you want E-Alerts sent to your cell phone all the time or just if they are emergency E-Alerts by clicking in the appropriate button.
5. You may also choose to sign up for Severe Weather Alerts from The Weather Channel. This is NOT mandatory; this third-party app is provided to you as a service of Santo ISD.
6. Click on the Save button at the bottom of the window. A confirmation message will display.
