My child is sick and will miss school today. What should I do?
1. Call the school between 7:35 and 8 a.m., or as early as possible to inform us of the situation.
2. Make arrangements for a sibling, friend or neighbor to pick up your chid's missed work and books needed for the day. You can also view their assignments by clicking on the Courses link above. Please be sure they work on their assignments, if they are able.
3. When your child returns to school, please send a doctor's or parent's note explaining the illness.
I need to get a message to my child during the school day. What do I do?
Please call the secretary for the campus that your student attends. They will get the message to your child in a timely manner.
Please do not call your child's cell phone. District policy states that cell phones must be turned off during the school day. Students with ringing phones or who take or make calls during school hours will have their phones taken up.
*If there is a family emergency, a student may explain the situation to their campus principal. He/she may decide to give the student a pass to keep the cell phone on silent/vibrate for that school day.
How long may I check out a library book in the secondary library? How many times may I renew it? Can I check out a reference book?
Books may be checked out for two weeks at a time, and they may be renewed twice. Reference books are not to be checked out without special permission.
Why won't my e-mails to my child's teacher go through?
To keep our system free from viruses, we have a filter on our e-mail server. When parents or community members send an e-mail, they may receive a message saying the mail was "undeliverable".
This just means that it has been caught by our filter. Faculty and staff check the filtered messages daily and should be able to send your message through. It may take up to 24 hours, so please be patient. Putting your child's name in the subject line of the e-mail would also be helpful.
If you continue to have problems, please e-mail the webmaster at the link provided at the bottom of this website.
